Lawu Park Group Appoints GlobalTix to Lead the Transformation of Guest Experience Across Its Destinations

Strategic appointment introduces a unified, cashless stored-value access model across six of Central Java’s most-visited destinations — reducing queues for guests while giving operators real-time visibility across the portfolio

CENTRAL JAVA, INDONESIA — 29 January 2026 — Lawu Park Group has appointed GlobalTix to lead the transformation of onsite visitor experiences across its portfolio of tourism destinations in Central Java — marking a meaningful step toward smarter, more seamless guest journeys at scale.

Under the appointment, GlobalTix will power a cashless, stored-value access and redemption experience that lets guests pre-purchase credit and redeem it seamlessly for entry across multiple Lawu Park Group sites. For visitors, the model removes long-standing friction points — queues, cash handling, and disconnected ticketing systems. For operators, it dramatically streamlines daily operations by reducing manual reconciliation, easing staff workload at entry points, and enabling more consistent management across a geographically distributed portfolio.

Where the Rollout Will Land

The deployment spans six of Central Java’s most distinctive destinations:

  • Lawu Park (Tawangmangu)
  • Sakura Hills (Tawangmangu)
  • Wonder Park Tawangmangu
  • Kemuning Sky Hills (Glass Bridge Experience)
  • Ngargoyoso Waterfall
  • Fort Willem I, Ambarawa (historical tourism site)

“As we continue to grow and manage a diverse portfolio of destinations, creating a consistent, high-quality guest experience is critical,” said Parmin Sastro Wijono, Director of Lawu Park Group. “GlobalTix brings deep experience in digitalising theme parks and complex attraction environments, and they’re the right partner to support our move toward modernised guest experiences while strengthening operational clarity and scalability across our sites.”

Visibility That Scales with the Portfolio

Beyond day-to-day operational improvements, the unified access model gives Lawu Park Group real-time visibility into visitor flow and redemptions across all six destinations — supporting smoother peak-period management while laying the groundwork for future enhancements such as bundled multi-site experiences and portfolio-wide access initiatives.

“Attractions today require access models that are flexible, scalable, and easy for both guests and operators,” said Chan Chee Kong, Chief Operating Officer of GlobalTix. “We’re honoured to support Lawu Park Group in shaping a guest-first access approach that improves operational efficiency while supporting long-term growth across its destinations.”

The collaboration reflects how tourism operators and technology partners can work together to strengthen Indonesia’s tourism infrastructure — adopting modern, visitor-centric access models adaptable to both large-scale destinations and smaller attractions, while balancing experience quality with operational sustainability.
