SingapoRediscovers Vouchers: Singaporean Core coming together to help Singaporeans rediscover Singapore

GlobalTix, a home-grown travel start-up and 8th fastest growing company in Singapore, is partnering household names, Singapore Post and DBS Bank to support the Singapore Tourism Board’s (STB) efforts to distribute SingapoRediscovers Vouchers (SRV). This initiative is intended to provide a boost to domestic tourism amid the Covid-19 pandemic by enabling Singaporeans to rediscover Singapore.

While citizens can visit singaporediscovers.globaltix.com to utilise their SRV to purchase attractions, hotels, and tour products; GlobalTix is also the only platform that focuses specifically on helping the same partners sell on their individual websites.

“GlobalTix is excited and deeply honoured to be appointed by STB to help them reach out to all Singaporeans. We are proud to partner SingPost and bring onboard DBS Bank to form a Singaporean core to support this national initiative. GlobalTix is the only platform focused on helping our attraction partners such as Wildlife Reserves Singapore, Gardens by the Bay and tour operators such as Let’s go Tour, Monster Day Tour to enable direct selling and redemption on their own websites; capitalising on their own brand awareness.” – Chan Chee Chong, CEO of GlobalTix

Singapore Post, a national icon will serve as the key physical touchpoints to ensure that the digitally excluded (i.e., senior citizens) can redeem their SingapoRediscovers Vouchers and purchase their tickets at the 23 appointed post offices spread across Singapore.

Ms Marjorie Ooi, Senior Vice President for Post Office Network, Financial Services & Philately is proud to be part of yet another national initiative to serve Singaporeans. “We are excited to partner GlobalTix on this initiative, allowing SingPost to once again serve its home country.”

“In this era where digitalisation and self-service technology are increasingly common, SingPost’s network of post offices across Singapore continues to play an important role for initiatives such as the distribution of the SRVs, to ensure that those who are not digitally savvy will continue to have access,” Ms Ooi added.
Citizens who are also DBS/POSB cardholders can redeem a food delivery voucher for every purchase, with limited monthly redemptions. This will further incentivise citizens to rediscover Singapore.

This Singaporean core will provide a comprehensive online and offline solution for citizens, while offering our partners, both big and small, a platform to reach and promote their products to Singaporeans. When international travel resumes, these same partners can ride on GlobalTix’s extensive distribution network of over 2,000 travel partners globally, including Expedia, Voyagin and TripAdvisor.
From 1st December 2020, citizens can look forward to utilising their S$100 SingapoRediscovers Vouchers to purchase hotel stays*, attraction tickets and tours on:
